i went out and was social. good for me. maybe a bit too social. a bit too ebullient. i faked it of course. i won't lay it on so thick next time.

i ate too much. nothing new there.

this time next week i'll be in colorado. that's good. that's something to look forward to. definitely. it'll be nice to be away. if only i could leave my brain here.

because i've eaten so much i feel compelled to do the one thing my mom told me not to do when i'm full. have a lie down. let it all go to my thighs.
