so what do i write in this diary now that nothing seems important?

i feel numb. i feel cut off, not just from the rest of the world, but the rest of the country. it's like right now this country consists only of the east coast. i begged my friends outside of dc to keep in touch. i just need to hear from people who aren't here. i'm not saying that i think things are so different in other places, but, i don't know, i just need to hear from them.

i hear a plane.

and living so close to national that never used to bother me. and i'm not worried about that plane, i just wonder who's on it and where they're headed and what their official business is.
